Census: Part a, Part b, Part c, Part d, Part e Part f, Part g, Part h, Part i San Luis Valley Information Center SLV Business and Vacation Guide San Luis & Rio Grande Scenic Railroad Library of Congress Historic Blanca Photos (Use search term "Blanca Colo" to locate the photos on the site above.) In the aerial photo, the darker diagonal road entering the Town on the west is Highway 160. Where it seems to enter the Town (the first distinct north-south road) is Simmer Avenue north of Highway 160 and Airport Road south of Hwy 160. The Town limits really extend 3 blocks further west into the area that does not have distinct roads. To visualize where property you might be interest in is with respect to the developed part of Town, compare the aerial photo to the zoning map on this site. The large bright building on the south side of Town is Blanfort, Inc., the largest employer in Blanca. The Town's southern boundries are at the curve south of Blanfort. © Jean Butler 2014 |
